Nancy has had a diversified and varied career in the Entertainment industry. Studying under Uta Hagen at HB Studio and then Curt Dempster and Jane Hoffman at Ensemble Studio Theater, She began her career as an actor appearing in numerous commercials, TV and film. She founded the NY Experimental Ensemble in NYC.
As a writer, she has written and co-written a number of screenplays and is a published author and journalist.
She co-produced and directed the award winning documentary ‘Burden Of A War,” that follows a group of nurses that served in Vietnam and the tragic affects of their exposure to Agent Orange has had on their lives/
Nancy, along with her producing partner, formed Summer Girl Media LLC 6 years ago. With no financial backing they have developed a reputation as a creative company that goes above and beyond to get the job done. She is instrumental in finding, developing and casting each of their shows.
As a producer, Nancy has a ability to find people that have unique and innovative stories to tell. She creates excitement around each project taking it from pitch to development. Always adding creativity... one example was throwing an outrageous party from a Manhattan rooftop with the cast of one of their shows Lit about fire performers, adding a great band, choreographing the show, and inviting the networks to come.
A respected educator, she has taught classes in Audition techniques, monologs/scene study at TVI Studios, Weist Baron, AMDA, SAG Conservatory.
In addition, she has produced many fundraising events that have been featured in Woman's Wear Daily, Vogue, the NY Times and other National publications.
